FS, if your credit score is above 620 I would recommend you try to take out your sub $5,000 loan from prosper.com or another peer to peer lending community, or your local credit union. Either option will allow you to pay the loan of slowly (i.e. not in 15 days like a payday loan).

I need a loan for $4,000. my credit score is right around 600 (I think like 620 on one and 580 on the other. Ive checked my credit and ALL that is on there are my student loans, which I defaulted and am currently with direct loans starting to pay them back now. I have never even owned a credit card or anything, but at 32 years old , I finally need some help. I am starting to get very behind on numerous bills and my daughter also is breaking the bank on me recently with some medical things. 4,000 will clear me up 100% to where I need to be. I make decent money (50K) but i really need to pay this loan off slowly rather than large chunks, as strung out as possible and to be 100% honest I do not care if the interest rate is high, but my month to month expenses wont leave me too much to fork out per month, I could EASILY swing $75 or less per month, could likely do $75-$125 , anything over i could do but would start strapping me again. so $125 or less per month would be perfect. Please Help.

alright. to who it may concern, i am a 30 year old, medically retired veteran of the marine corps. recieving 100% disabillity(2673), deposited monthly into my checking account. i am prepared to pay $300 monthly, if granted a $3000 personal loan….

I am looking for a $5000 loan to payoff the payday loans that I have. I will be able to make atleast a $200 per month payment on the loan, but I can’t find anyone who will lend to me because my credit score is below 600.

Readers – please, please, please — NEVER respond to anyone who leaves comments like this on websites (Note – I edited the person’s email out, but they had left their contact info). First of all, no one offers loans at 3% annually for 50 years (no one even offers loans for 50 years to anyone, especially to someone who is looking to take out a small 5000 loan). Basically, these people are just trying to scam you.
